Important message from Father Nelson Restrepo for the faithful
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Due to the increased numbers of positive Covid-19 cases at St. Joseph Catholic Church, I would like to notify you that this weekend (starting 4/16/2021 until 4/20/2021 ), the Church will be closed for any type of celebration. However, Masses and the consecration to St. Joseph on Monday will be Livestream. Our priority is the safety of all the parishioners and the community.
The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) recommends that anyone who has had close contact with someone who has COVID-19 should stay home for 14 days after being exposed. It is time it takes for the disease to manifest or corroborate that you are not infected. If you need a better understanding of what close contact or exposure means, here is a link to the CDC website:
Please know that St. Joseph Parish is complying with strict security measures, such as physical distancing, disinfecting and a mandatory use of masks. I share this information with you hoping you make the right and personal decision self-quarantine or get tested.
We also ask all those who have not been vaccinated, Please find a way to register to get vaccinated, as this will be the safest way to prevent the spread of the virus.
Pray for a favorable and prompt resolution to the current pandemic and for compassion and kindness to prevail in the hearts of all as we care for those in need.
